5 Steps to Finding the Perfect Wedding Stationery

Your wedding invitations are one of the first true glimpses your guests will get of your upcoming big day, and on a practical note, they ensure all your guests get to where they are needed on time. Therefore, it is critical that your wedding invitations give a perfect reflection of your wedding day, and that your information is spot on. Of course, wedding invitations are not the only aspect of wedding stationery that you should consider. You might start with save the date cards first, and then move on to wedding invitations, guest information cards and RSVPs later. You might even find yourself wanting menu cards, order of the day booklets and signage for your big day itself!

1. Pick Your Stationery

Step one is to choose your wedding stationery products. To do this, consider what you need to achieve. Think about what information your guests need, and when they need it. As an example, if you are getting married abroad, it might be worth sending your guests save the date cards at least twelve months before your big day to give them a chance to arrange flights, time off work, childcare, and accommodation. If you need to give your guests lots of information ahead of time, guest information cards might be worth including in your wedding invitations. Should you need meal choices ahead of your big day, opt for menu cards, and if you want physical RSVPs, you can include these too.

2. Choose a Theme

One of the first things you should do when planning a wedding is to pick your theme. This theme should carry on through your wedding stationery and will help inform the choices you make. 3. Choose Colours

Colours are just as important as your wedding theme. If there are specific colours that will form part of your wedding day, why not try to bring these into your wedding stationery? Blues, reds, oranges, yellows and so many others all lend themselves perfectly to printed colour. It is just worth remembering that certain colours will not print very well on brown Kraft! 4. Consider Your Budget

Knowing your budget for wedding stationery is critical. It is important to make sure that your wedding stationery fits into your budget, and if you love a range that takes you over that budget, you will need to find another aspect to adjust. If your budget is flexible and has plenty of room, you could consider a bespoke design. With a bespoke design, we would create something totally new just for you, from the ground up. Of course, this costs more than off-the-shelf designs due to the time taken. If your budget is tighter, our recycled brown Kraft range of off-the-shelf designs might be more up your alley.
